This week, Zack shows us Matt's new gametype "Showdown". Showdown is similar to Duel but has rounds and other unique changes that makes 1v1 matches more balanced and fun to watch. If you've been grabbing builds from Github you can grab it now and give us feedback in the forums, otherwise you can try it out in the next build.
We also took a look at some new concepts for the HUB and Menu UI. We'd love to have your feedback so please let us know what you think!

Chris Kay joins us to show us his first map for the new Unreal Tournament, "Volcano". Volcano is a CTF map that is reminiscent of older UT maps like "Lava Giant", "Eternal Caves" and "Magma". The map is asymmetrical and is a blast to play! Be sure to keep an eye out for it in the next build coming later in June.
Also this week, Pete Knepley and Jim Brown take a look at the new UT replay system coming online soon!

Also invited were members from past events and we were so happy quite a few of them were able to attend. Our 21 guests descended upon Epic Games and we had some amazing matches and the winners took home some great prizes! Thank you to our friends at Nvidia, Logitech and Kingston for providing the gear. The team was super excited this week to talk about the Enhanced Spectator System. ESS gives greater flexibility to spectators allowing casters to follow players easily during matches and video creators to have more control during recording.
Joe talked about changes to the HUB coming in the next build. The HUB has changed a lot and we hope you check it out! Also, Sidney checked out three community created levels:
DM-Vicious by Numb.51
CTF-Defiance by TotesAmaze
DM-Burgh by Sonaeris
The team really enjoyed all of the maps and we're looking forward to seeing future iterations! We were really amazed at the work done on DM-Burgh by Sonaeris. Head over to forums.unrealtournament.com to check it out.
We'll be taking a look at community content each week as there is so much coming online! Also, we'll have another new weekly feature - "Concept Art of the Week" We hope you enjoy it!
